WHERE FAMILIES ARE FRIENDS AND FRIENDS ARE FAMILY

Welcome to the Bradshaw Estates web site. We are a Ryland Home community of 166 homes with families of all ages, sizes, races and interests. We take pride in our neighborhood and are committed to maintaining a safe, well-landscaped, and friendly environment for everyone.

Bradshaw Estates began developing as a Ryland Home Cherokee County Community in the year 2001.  Located just 2 miles off I-575 in Canton, it features approximately 166 homes with 3, 4, or 5 bedrooms.  The property itself was once farmland owned by the Bradshaw family of Cherokee County.  This family also owned all of the property adjacent to Bradshaw Estates, known as Bradshaw Farms.  Although we are not considered a “Golf Club Community”, many of the homes at Bradshaw Estates are situated along side the Blue Course of the Bradshaw Farms Golf Club with outstanding views of the course.  There are three small ponds on that golf course that once were water holes for the cows who grazed on the land.

Apparently, the builders of Bradshaw Farms wanted to have 27 holes of golf for their community, but the remoteness of the area did not warrant more than 18 holes of golf. As a result, Ryland Homes  purchased the land alongside the prospective third nine hole course with the intention of bringing more people to the area. This made the addition of the Blue Course a reality.  Thus..here we are!

Homes were built here in three stages.   Phase one extended from Hickory Road to Augusta Drive; Phase two extended from Augusta Drive past Azaela; and Phase extended the from Azaela and beyond..  Ryland left us with some nice amenities:  cul-de-sac streets, sidewalks, nice landscaping, and convenience to major highways, restaurants, shopping areas, schools and the library.

The following established public schools are located  within one mile on Hickory Road:
